Our growing baby is coming soon!! We're now full term! 37 weeks...I never thought we would see this day! It always seemed so far off. Praise God we are here!!
Went to the doctor today, as every Monday! No real news...lost half a pound. Who knew? I've been so hungry these past weeks. I want desert/sugary things constantly!
Our little baby is moving nearly constantly. She's got so much energy when she's not sleeping! She even hurts sometimes because she kicks so hard. But it's all worth it! I'm really looking forward to seeing her! That's what I keep telling people. We are soooo excited! I keep looking at my belly in amazement...there is a full size baby in there, a real live baby! Wow!!
Ecclesiastes 11:5
"Just as you do not know the path of the wind and how bones are formed in the womb of the pregnant woman, so you do not know the activity of God who makes all things." :)
In other news...my "first baby" my book "How & Why to Pray for Healing, Pray in Tongues & Give Prophecy" is now for sale! You can check it out at growinginJesus.com and even buy a copy through the website! It will soon be available on Amazon.com too.
Thanks for listening!

36- yippie!
Monday was another doctor's appointment (one every week now!).
Gained 3 pounds, and doctor measured baby- the uterus is up to 40 cm, and the doctor was surprised, saying, "She's full size! It's at the size where you could give birth next week!"
:-o
Needless to say, we were a bit surprised! But we like this news!
I must say, I think baby has "dropped," as they say. My body is SO sore around where the legs connect to the torso- groin area - and I can barely walk sometimes! Some serious changes this week. I really, really struggle with getting up from anywhere- sitting, lying down in bed, you name it. Standing is getting really tough too, and backaches are getting worse! This baby is coming soon!!!
On thebump.com, I read a list that I would like to share:
You know you’re super pregnant when...
Yep! All true :)

You know you’re super pregnant when...
- You're more concerned with whether or not you possess the ability to physically rise from the bed for the twenty-seventh time to pee during the night than you are about whether or not you'll ever get back to sleep when you're done.
- When you wake your DH up in the morning making grunting noises from across the room because you can no longer bend over to tie your shoes.
- When your DH is entertained by the feat of gymnastics you have to perform in the morning just to get your pants on.
- When a walk to the bakery across the street involves a bathroom stop on the way there and a bathroom stop on the way back!
- You can clean up almost an entire living room full of toys with your feet....and your kids are doing the same thing behind you!!!
- You rest your bowl of cereal on your belly like a table top.
- When you need your husband to actually PUSH you out of bed because you can't sit up or roll
- When putting on socks is an Olympic event
- Getting off the floor looks like a break dancing move you haven't mastered yet
- You wait for someone to walk by before you try to pick something up so they will see and offer to help!

35 weeks!!! Whoa.
This is REAL! We are going to have a baby within the next 5-6 weeks!!!! Hallelujah!
Wait, WHAT!?
I think I've finally starting getting a bit nervous. I'm not feeling very confident about having a baby to take care of all the time! But at the same time, I'm so super excited. It's like I can't decide exactly what I'm feeling. It's crazy.
Monday I have another doctor's appointment. It's getting harder and harder to walk around--especially hard to walk up the stairs. I'm always out of breath! It takes me like half an hour to recover! (Probably not actually a half hour...exaggerating of course!) I wonder if I will have gained the normal weight (2 pounds? One per week apparently is good at this point.)
Baby is still moving around so much! It's pretty much constant now, I almost don't notice sometimes! But I see waves across my belly and I feel her moving. I can't believe how big she must be in there already. It's like, whoa. I have such little energy, and she has so much!! :)
Tomorrow we have our last birthing class. It's all about baby care, hooray! I wonder if we'll have little dolls to put clothes on, haha. Probably not, it's not that hands on. Last week's birthing class was terrible- we watched a video with pregnant moms dressed up in white bodysuits from the 70s and men with huge hair and big glasses that rubbed their wives while their wives faked contractions for the purpose of the video! ha. I feel like our practice breathing through fake contractions does absolutely nothing to prepare me for labor. I always feel ridiculous and like, how am I supposed to know from this how a contraction feels?
Today on thebump.com, there was a disucssion titled: "Things I'm looking forward to after birth". Here is one of the answers that I laughed out loud about because it's exactly how I feel right now:

If you can't read it, it says, "Being able to think, "I'm going to stand up now," without thinking about how to go about doing it..." :) That's really how I feel!!
We still have so much to do before baby comes. I sure hope she isn't early! haha. We have to get the crib (this CAN happen after she's born though, since we have a bassinet for now,) I have to wash her clothes and diapers, get Romeo neutered (lol, poor guy,) get a car seat and install it...and become mentally prepared! (Does that actually happen?) I sure hope we get all the necessary things done in advance! Pray for us :)
